Our Mission
To promote, organise and present an inclusive cultural festival, which embraces, upholds and supports all cultures and encourages participation by the multicultural communities of the Fraser Coast.
To value and celebrate all cultures through festivals and artistic expressions in different forms.
Respect for all cultures, traditions and values, not only in writing but in practice, with particular reference to the original custodians of this country on which the festival is held – the Butchulla.
Encourage participation not only in multicultural activities but also integration in the wider Australian community.
To provide and share expertise in different cultural activities.
Provide cultural information and advice including traditional protocols, customs and tradition of different cultures.
Ensure that membership of the organisation is inclusive and representative of the different communities on the Fraser coast.
Liaise with departments of government and other relevant groups for an open discussion and dialogues confronting the migrant communities.
Provide a leadership that is exemplary, cohesive and worthy of emulation not only by our children but by the wider community as well.
